so there are many ways to rid bronchitis with a few methods and home remedies.

What is Bronchitis?

Bronchitis comes from a virus and it is the same one that will cause a cold, but the flu virus is a know factor of bronchitis as well. Fungus and bacteria can also be a known

cause of bronchitis. Bronchitis can come after you get flu or the cold when your lungs are already slightly weak and irritated.

Home Remedies for Bronchitis

Humidify Your Surroundings

Coughing is actually good when you have bronchitis. It’s how your body rids your body of an infection you may have. You can help by using a humidifier that will add

some moisture to the air you breathe. Any added moisture can help you get rid of all the sputum in your chest.

Get Plenty of Liquids

By getting more liquids, it will help aid the sputum in being more thin which will make it easier to come up. You can drink any type of liquid and if it’s warm it may feel

better rather than cold liquids. Warm liquids can bring your throat relief also.

Warm Salt Water Gargles

Warm salt water gargles can decrease the amount of mucus that can be bothering your throat and can relieve some of the inflammation in the throat. You just need about

one teaspoon of salt to one glass of water. Do not use more than that as it can make the throat burn and make the problem worse. You can do this as many times a day as

you need and be sure you do not swallow the water.

Get Adequate Rest

By getting rest, you can help your body to recuperate. Your body can feel weak and you may be stuck with bronchitis a bit longer. You may get tired of just sitting around,

but bronchitis can be contagious so it’s best to rest.

Take Aspirin for Chest pain

If you start to experience chest pain from all the coughing, taking an aspirin or even ibuprofen can bring relief. Acetaminophen may not be such a great help, as it does
